Dear in-house counsel colleagues
During the last months, we have all been through so much change and in several instances, we were forced to transform: our daily routine, our professional communication, our priorities, ourselves. This year, the Annual Conference will focus on the transformation of the role of in-house counsel and the leading role you can play in these times of tremendous changes. Be a game changer! And find out how you can shape an uncertain future and seize the opportunities.
In line with established tradition, delivered through our virtual and highly-interactive platform , the Conference will offer three programme tracks: Lead the Law, Lead the Business and Lead Yourself, providing a mix of smaller and interactive sessions as well as plenary sessions. The aim of our 2021 Annual Conference is to provide powerful insights into the future role of in-house counsel and to suggest strategies to help you maximise the opportunities provided, particularly in a crisis such as the current pandemic. Topics will include the in-house counsel’s role on public policy and IT ethics, running the legal department as a business, corporate liabilities arising from the changes in the way businesses operate due to the pandemic, connecting corporate liability with environment litigation, diversity and inclusion, mental wellbeing, and much more. A successful in-house counsel is so much more than a machine: we will provide the tools to help you adopt a growth mindset and to maximise your performance and wellbeing.
And last but not least… the Closing Plenary session on Thursday afternoon is not to be missed. We are delighted that Erin Meyer, author of The Culture Map: Breaking through the Invisible Boundaries of Global Business will enlighten us on how to navigate the complexities of cultural differences in multi-cultural environments.
We look forward to seeing you for what will be a game-changing virtual conference!!
